As the recession bites, Swazi Secrets bite back

The news that your biggest 2008 customer may not make any purchases in 2009 can be a hammer blow for any customer, especially when it represents 66% of your turnover.

That is what happened to SIP in January, with orders for bulk oil being hit by the global recession. However, the current boom in Swazi Secrets sales, together with the export potential realised at Biofach 2009, look set to carry the company through that setback.

Swazi Secrets sales were 68% up in Jan/Feb compared to 2008 sales, with new customers leading the way.

We welcome Jody’s Shoppe, Bulembu Country Lodge, Mvubu Falls Hotel, Siteki Hotel and DD4 Investments as new 2009 customers while we look forward to significantly increased sales from Europe.
